Executes laboratory tasks as directed, adhering to set quality standards. Under guidance and supervision of the chemists/manager, makes batches of skincare prototypes, keeping accurate records of experimental processes, observations, and results in a lab notebook. Performs and tracks stability on formulas made. Proactively reports any stability concerns to the chemists/manager. Manages raw material inventory. Must be detailed-oriented. May provide creative and resourceful solutions to issues which may arise during the product development process. Interfaces with various support groups within R&D. Potential to extend contract at the end of the year.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Cosmetic Science or related field.
• 3-5 years maximum of laboratory experience, preferably in cosmetic formulation development. Relevant experience in other industries will be considered.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical information.
• A collaborative and proactive team player with a positive attitude.
