Job Description
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef de Partie specializing in Bakery to join our culinary team in Bogor, Indonesia. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for creating delicious baked goods and contributing to the overall success of our bakery operations.
Prepare a wide variety of baked goods, including breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts, ensuring consistent quality and presentation
Develop and test new recipes to expand our bakery offerings and keep up with current trends
Manage daily production schedules and coordinate with other kitchen sections to meet customer demands
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery area, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards
Train and supervise junior staff members in baking techniques and procedures
Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed
Collaborate with the culinary team to create seasonal menus and special promotions
Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients and finished products
Assist in cost control measures by minimizing waste and optimizing ingredient usage
Participate in menu planning and pricing discussions with the management team
Qualifications
Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Baker or Pastry Chef in a professional kitchen setting
Culinary degree or diploma in baking and pastry arts preferred
Proven expertise in various baking techniques and production of a wide range of baked goods
Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, with current food safety certification
Excellent attention to detail and consistency in product quality
Proficiency in using and maintaining bakery equipment and tools
Creative mindset with the ability to develop innovative recipes and presentations
Strong time management and organizational skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills
Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items when necessary
Basic math skills for recipe calculations and inventory management
Flexibility to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays as required
Passion for baking and commitment to delivering high-quality products
