Japanese Level: N2 and above

Job Roles And Responsibilities

  • Plan and design inspection jigs for automotive body sheet metal parts, considering factors such as part geometry, inspection requirements, and manufacturing processes.
  • Utilize CAD software (CATIA or AutoCAD preferred) to create detailed designs and models of inspection jigs.
  • Collaborate with related departments and business partners to ensure seamless integration of jig designs into the production process and optimize for manufacturability.
  • Conduct inspections and quality checks to verify the accuracy and effectiveness of designed jigs.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the department, focusing on jig design and inspection methodologies.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to jig designs, inspections, and testing procedures.
  • Flexibility to work on holidays as required, depending on project assignments and workload.


Key Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
  • Good understanding of manufacturing processes in the automotive field; knowledge of sheet metal forming processes is a plus.
  • Experience with CAD software operations (CATIA or AutoCAD preferred), including 3D modeling and drafting.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate and collaborate effectively with internal departments and external business partners.
  • Willingness and flexibility to work on holidays as needed.
  • Familiarity with automotive industry standards and specifications (e.g., GD&T) is a plus.
  • Prior experience in jig design, fixture design, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills are a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
