Chapter Director - YPO and YPO Gold Seattle This role is full-time, and you will be employed by Prime 8 Consulting, a highly respected, woman-owned management consulting firm. Location: Bellevue, WA (Hybrid / Primarily Onsite) About the Client YPO is the world's largest leadership community of chief executives - a non-profit organization with over 36,000 extraordinary global members, across 142 countries, with the mission of coming together to become better leaders and better people. Seattle has two YPO chapters: (1) YPO (members under 50 years of age) and (2) YPO Gold (members over 50). These chapters sit within the greater international organization and are comprised of top business executives from the Pacific Northwest region. About the Role We are seeking a Chapter Director who is more than an organizer, they are an organization builder. This full-time leader will be the operational and strategic engine behind YPO Seattle's chapters (our client) , ensuring world-class member experiences while advancing the long-term vision and growth of both chapters. This role blends executional excellence with strategic insight. The ideal candidate thrives in an entrepreneurial environment, has the gravitas to collaborate with C-level executives, and brings a passion for elevating member engagement, expanding chapter reach, and positioning our client as the premier leadership community in the region. The role will report directly to the elected Chairs of the two YPO chapters-your primary partners in vision-setting and execution-while maintaining accountability to each chapter's Board and supporting a strong membership pipeline. What You'll Do Strategic Leadership & Chapter Growth * Partner with Chapter Chairs to set and execute each chapter's strategic plan, aligning around goals for engagement, retention, and chapter growth. * Support chapter health efforts: conduct and interpret member surveys, analyze engagement metrics, and translate insights into action. * Collaborate with Membership and Diversity Officers to attract, onboard, and retain members who reflect the values and ambitions of the chapter. * Contribute to branding and positioning efforts to elevate chapter visibility and value in the Seattle market. Board Management * Act as a trusted partner to each chapter's Board, helping set meeting agendas, surface strategic topics, track progress toward chapter goals, and ensure follow-through. * Facilitate strong communication between chapter officers, regional/global chapters, and chapter members. * Support smooth officer transitions by preserving institutional knowledge and sharing best practices. Member Experience & Engagement * Lead the planning and execution of ~25 events annually across both chapters (including joint events, signature experiences, and smaller member gatherings). * Ensure a seamless and personalized member journey-from onboarding to ongoing engagement within forums, the local chapter, networks and globally -across all cohorts, including family/spouse/partners and YNG (YPO Next Generation). * Track engagement trends and proactively identify areas for improvement or innovation. Chapter Operations * Oversee chapter communications across newsletters, emails, websites, apps, and event reminders-ensuring clarity, consistency, and value. * Maintain chapter systems and files; ensure governance compliance and alignment with global organization. * Act as the chapters' liaison with the organization's regional and global networks, surfacing relevant initiatives and resources to local leaders. Financial Management * Manage chapter budgets, payments, and dues collection for over 300 members. * Provide monthly financial reporting to each chapter's Treasurer and board. * Identify and secure funding support (including global/regional resources and sponsorships), ensuring sustainability of chapter operations and events. What You Bring Experience & Skills * 7+ years in executive support, operations, member management, or a comparable leadership-support role. * Strong track record in stakeholder engagement, strategic execution, and event or program management. * Association, nonprofit, or membership organization experience strongly preferred. * Excellent communication, project management, and decision-making skills. Mindset & Attributes * Entrepreneurial, "own-it" mentality, proactive, and solutions oriented. * Collaborative and comfortable working with C-level executives. * Highly organized and calm under pressure; able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. * Driven by community, connection, and achievement of organizational mission. Bonus If You Have * Familiarity with leadership-oriented organizations * Experience in strategic communications, branding, recruiting and/or partnerships. * Project management certification. Other Requirements * Available for some evenings/weekends and occasional regional travel. * Comfortable working independently with high expectations and accountability. * This leadership role requires in-office presence with normal working hours of 3 days per week. The total compensation range (includes performancebased incentives) for this leadership role is expected to be between $110,000 to $140,000, plus employee benefits.
