About the Role

We are seeking an energetic and forward-thinking Channel & Business Development Manager to drive channel strategies and expand into new markets. This role requires strong collaboration with distributors and internal stakeholders to achieve growth objectives in assigned markets.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Channel Strategy

  • Develop and implement strategic channel strategy across various retail, wholesale, and e-commerce platforms to achieve sales targets and business growth
  • Identify growth opportunities for each channel and direct distributor partners to optimize channel mix .
  • Collaborate with distributor partners on trade marketing and channel initiatives to drive expansion.
  • Set and track channel performance metrics, ensuring sales and margin targets are met.
  • Develop pricing, promotion, and distribution strategies specific to each channel.
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment


2. New Market Development

  • Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities within assigned markets in partnership with distributors.
  • Evaluate new market inquiries by assessing potential, competition, and regulatory requirements.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with distributors and local partners to support market expansion.


3. Team Collaboration & Growth Mindset

  • Work effectively with cross-functional teams, including distributors, marketing, operations, and finance.
  • Foster strong internal and external collaboration to ensure seamless execution of channel and business strategies.


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Diploma or Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Sales, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the consumer healthcare or FMCG industry.
  • Proven experience in channel management and business development.
  • Strong business acumen with excellent financial and analytical skills.
  • Results-driven with exceptional stakeholder management and negotiation abilities.
  • Independent, self-motivated, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
