Change Program Manager:
My client, a leading insurance broker, currently undergoing significant growth are looking to hire a Change Program Manager.
- Location: role can be based in either the Sandyford, Dublin or Waterford offices
- Hybrid role with flexitime options. The role will be a mix of office and home/remote based working
- Salary and Benefits: Up to €70000 per annum plus an attractive and comprehensive benefits package
- Start Date: Immediate or as soon as available
- Only candidates currently based in Ireland and with a valid long term work permit or candidates with EU or UK citizenship and able to relocate within 1 month (if not currently based in Ireland) can be considered at this time. A work permit application cannot be supported at this time.
The Opportunity:
This is an opportunity that has arisen due the exciting growth of the organisation, including organic growth and growth via acquisition. This has led to the growth of an organisational change management function within the business. This role will report to a new Head of Change and will be responsible for a range of change based projects such as integration of acquired businesses, involvement in new insurance schemes (both acquired and developed in house schemes) as well as implementing and developing new processes to improve the overall Change function and practices within the organisation.
Core Responsibilities:
Change:
- Provide Change Management Support to the project sponsor and relevant business stakeholders
- Identify, plan and implement actions designed to engage with Stakeholders
- Develop and apply Change Management methods and tools to create a plan to support the adoption of the required change
- Identify impacts of the change and develop plans to communicate changes to impacted individuals and ensure business readiness
- Lead change workshops with stakeholders impacted by the change
Projects:
- Work closely with the project sponsor, cross functional teams to develop the scope, deliverables, activities, required resources and timelines for new initiatives
- Plan and design the programme/project plan to ensure return on investment & benefit realisation
- Apply a structured project management methodology to ensure delivery of assigned projects on time and within budget
- Monitor progress and oversee activities to ensure goals and timelines are met
- Identify and manage risks and issues to the programme/project, identifying mitigation actions relevant to the plan
- Organise and lead meetings with stakeholders to communicate programme/project status and remedy issues
- Work with the relevant business owners to ensure a smooth transition to business as usual activity
- Perform post implementation reviews to ensure benefit realisation
General:
- Develop proposals and solutions to support change in the organisation
- Identify, review, and create business processes to support accomplishing business goals specific for the organization.
- Conduct business process modelling and apply knowledge to ensure processes are streamlined and standardised
- Facilitate workshops with users to review processes and document process requirements
Required Skills and Experience:
Hard skills and experience:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a related role with a strong focus on organisational change management
- Clear and demonstrable evidence of delivering 3 significant and different change related projects and the ability to explain the value proposition, delivery methodology and organizational benefit of each
- Some experience in insurance or financial services and a clear understanding of the required regulations in these sectors would be highly beneficial
- Strong project management skills and the ability to take ownership of the development, implementation and execution of a diverse range of change initiatives is essential.
