Summary

The Queensland Resources sector is changing. At the Department of Resources, we juggle new demands, rapid changes and shifts in community knowledge and expectation. We play an active role in the delivery of key government priorities, such as the implementation of a renewable energy economy, assisting in Path to Treaty, recognition of Native Title Rights and capitalising on our resources for sustainable economic prosperity. In this role you will: Lead and develop effective change methodology approaches that incorporate responsibility to manage change strategy development and planning, managing impacts of change, and targeted engagement and communication approaches. Identification, developing, planning, documenting, and delivering end to end change management across the department, including change impact assessments, engagement plans, communications and support materials, business readiness assessments and adoption monitoring. Provide change advice to senior leaders and project teams as required. Support strategic decision making of senior leaders, by providing strategic change advice and data driven insights on transformation activities. We're looking for the best suited applicant for the role. We'll do this by assessing your eligibility and your ability to undertake the requirements of the role (including, where relevant, the way you carried out previous roles). We'll also consider your potential to make contributions to the department and how your engagement would support our commitment to equity, diversity, respect, and inclusion. This position requires: Change Management qualifications and/or experience with large transformational ICT implementations / organisational change programs are highly desirable. Demonstrated exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder management skills in negotiation, networking, consultation, facilitation, influence, and communication (both written and oral). Experience and understanding of organisational change management methodologies and frameworks. Demonstrated experience in leading, strengthening, and mobilising change management capability of leaders to inspire and motivate their teams.
