Summary

Job Overview:


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Change and Release Manager to establish and implement a robust IT Change Management practice across Beltone Group.


In this newly created position, you will collaborate with IT Operations, Solution Architects, Project Managers, BAU support teams, and 3rd-party service providers to ensure adherence to the IT Operational Change Management Policy and approved processes. This role involves close collaboration with IT Service Management and Business Stakeholders to ensure effective communication and seamless transition of changes.


Job Responsibilities:


  • Refining the Change Management Practice, assessing current processes, and aligning them with ITIL4 best practices to ensure they are fit for purpose.
  • Manage the transition of significant changes to existing services or the launch of new services, mitigating risks and ensuring minimal disruption to IT operations.
  • Evaluate and Approve Changes:
  • Assess all Requests for Change (RFCs) for impact on business processes and IT services.
  • Ensure changes do not introduce unacceptable risks or disruptions to the operational environment.
  • Change Advisory Board (CAB) Leadership:
  • Chair the CAB, providing necessary information for effective decision-making.
  • Publish and communicate the forward schedule of IT changes to all stakeholders.
  • Coordination and Implementation:
  • Coordinate with relevant parties to ensure changes are built, tested, and implemented according to agreed schedules.
  • Engage with senior managers to resolve change conflicts and ensure smooth transitions.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Regularly evaluate and improve the change management practice, aligning it with ITIL4 best practices.
  • Drive innovation and improvements in the transition and release of IT services.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent professional qualification.
  • ITIL v4 certification, preferably with practitioner experience in change management.
  • Experience with controls and audit compliance (e.g., SOX).
  • Proficiency in Service Management approaches, tools, and project lifecycle phases.
  • Familiarity with the ServiceNow Change Management application is a plus.


Skills and Competencies:


  • Solid knowledge of deployment and implementation methodologies (Agile, EDM, infrastructure).
  • Comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle and configuration management principles.
  • Awareness of Information Security controls (preferred).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship management skills.
