Job Overview:  

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Pool Operator (CPO) to oversee the operation and maintenance of the Tahoe Keys Indoor Pool. The CPO will ensure that the pool facility complies with health and safety regulations, maintains optimal water quality, and provides a safe environment for all users. This role requires a strong technical background in pool operations, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to customer service.   Compensation: $22-24/hr    FirstService Residential will compensate the successful candidate in accordance with the posted range. The salary or wage paid to the successful candidate will be commensurate with experience, education, and specific job responsibilities. For positions designated at a client's property, the salary or wage will also be premised upon the client's directive. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.    Your Responsibilities:  The duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 
  • Monitor and maintain pool water quality, including testing chemical levels and adjusting as necessary to ensure compliance with local health regulations.
  • Conduct regular inspections of pool equipment and facilities, addressing maintenance needs promptly and effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of water quality tests, maintenance activities, and incident reports.
  • Perform pool maintenance schedules, including cleaning, filter maintenance, and equipment repairs.
  • Collaborate with the facility management team to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry best practices.
  • Provide excellent customer service to pool patrons, addressing inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.
  • Train and supervise pool staff, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and operational procedures.
Skills & Qualifications: 
  • Must possess a current Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in pool management or maintenance preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of pool chemistry, water treatment, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

  • Ability to lift heavy equipment and perform manual tasks.
  • Comfortable working in an indoor pool environment, which may involve exposure to chlorine and other chemicals.
