• Familiarity with insurance processing and inventory management.
• Experience working in a hospital pharmacy setting.

Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmacy team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing phone calls, coordinating refills, and triaging calls, as well as handling production tasks such as filling, packaging, and shipping medications. This role requires a strong background in various pharmacy settings and the ability to multitask and manage responsibilities effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Phone Calls and Refills: Manage incoming phone calls, coordinate refill requests, and ensure timely processing of refills.
• Triage Phone Calls: Efficiently triage phone calls to appropriate personnel or departments.
• Production Tasks: Perform production tasks including filling prescriptions, packaging medications, and shipping them out.
• Variety of Experience: Utilize experience from specialty, inpatient, and outpatient pharmacy settings to enhance service delivery.
• Management Experience: Leverage management experience to handle multiple tasks, scheduling, and taking on responsibilities effectively

Compensation: $26/hr to $29/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
