Scheduling Coordinator for Physical Therapy, Radiology, DME and Home Health Care

Looking for friendly, hard-working, computer-comfortable TEAM PLAYERS to join our small but fast-growing company located in West Los Angeles. This is a customer service position where you would help schedule and oversee appointments for patients at one of our 1,500+ top quality medical provider partners throughout California. There is no direct face-to-face patient contact, as our business operates as a central scheduling and billing service, but we do speak with patients all the time.

Basic Job Description

• Review incoming physician orders and insurance authorizations for Radiology and Physical Therapy exams.
• Refer patients to one of over 1,500 of our medical provider partner offices throughout California.
• Follow-up with phone calls to both patients and medical offices to make sure appointments are set and attended.
• Obtain missing information, medical reports and bills for referred examinations.
  
  

Requirements for the Position:

• Required: Excellent verbal, writing and phone communication skills.
• Required: Good team player, problem solver and multitasker.
• Required: At least 1 year of real scheduling experience in a radiology, physical therapy or medical office practice
• Required: Ability to commute to West Los Angeles office (90025)
• Medical billing experience would be helpful, but not required.
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus, but not required.
• Experienced user of Microsoft Word, Outlook.
