Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across designated routes. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle various types of trucks, including flatbed, roll-off, and refrigerated trailers. As a Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Operate various types of trucks including flatbed, roll-off, refrigerated trailers, and tanker trucks. Safely transport freight to designated locations while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Manage route driving effectively to optimize delivery schedules and minimize delays. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven and mileage. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding any issues or delays encountered on the road. Load and unload cargo as required, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Adhere to company policies regarding safety protocols and vehicle maintenance. Skills Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License). Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles. Familiarity with route driving techniques and logistics management. Experience with various truck types including tractor-trailer configurations. Knowledge of freight handling procedures and regulations. Strong problem-solving skills to address any challenges that arise during transportation. Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries.
