Cheeseman Transport is hiring CDL A Local Flatbed Drivers in Hayward, CA. Drivers will be locally delivering forklifts, tow motors and their parts on flatbed trailers. Compensation

• Hourly pay rate: $40
• Average hours weekly: 40
• Potential for overtime hours

Home Time, Route, & Schedule

• Home Time: Home daily
• Schedule: Monday - Friday
• Shift: Starting around 7 - 7:30am
• Route: Delivering anywhere within a 250 mile radius of Hayward, CA
• Level of Touch: Loading & unloading freight, must secure freight
• Includes strapping, chaining, and possibly tarping

• Newer model Kenworth, Peterbilt, and Freightliner trucks
• Automatic transmission
• Governed speed: 68 mph
• ELD equipped using Geotab

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have CDL A license
• Must have 1 year of flatbed driving experience
• Must have hazmat & tanker endorsements or be willing to obtain within 60 days of employment
• No felony in the past 7 years
• No alcohol related offense in the past 5 years
• Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations
• Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen
