Position: CCTV & IT Technician

Location: Guwahati, Assam

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Shift: Day Shift

Work Mode: In person

Travel Requirement: Up to 50% (Preferred)

Key Responsibilities:

CCTV Installation & Maintenance:

• Install, configure, and maintain CCTV systems including analog and IP cameras
• Set up DVR/NVR systems and integrate remote viewing solutions
• Troubleshoot camera/video issues, perform regular system checks, and maintain logs
• Ensure proper coverage, alignment, and recording settings for all installed systems

Networking & IT Support:

• Install and configure LAN/WAN systems, routers, switches, and Wi-Fi access points
• Maintain structured cabling (Cat5e/Cat6) and network racks
• Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues, IP conflicts, and performance lags
• Support in setting up and maintaining workstations, PCs, and basic IT peripherals

Low Voltage & Electrical Integration:

• Lay conduit, cable trays, and structured wiring for low-voltage systems
• Perform minor electrical works related to security and automation devices
• Ensure all safety standards and installation best practices are followed

Qualifications & Skills Required:

Education:

• ITI / Diploma / Bachelor's in:
• Computer Hardware & Networking
• Electronics & Communication Engineering
• Electrical Engineering
• Information Technology
• Not compulsory if you have required knowledge and experience.

Technical Skills:

• Strong understanding of CCTV technology and surveillance system integration
• Familiarity with networking (IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, etc.)
• Knowledge of cable dressing, crimping, testing, and patch panel setup
• Basic Windows knowledge for system setup and troubleshooting
• Ability to read technical diagrams and follow standard installation protocols
• Basic knowledge of UPS, power supplies, and electrical safety for IT setups

Preferred Qualities:

• Willingness to travel within North-East India
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Punctual, detail-oriented, and self-driven attitude
