We are building a team of embedded software engineers to work on a state-of-the-art frequency converter.

It is a compact device based on an object-oriented architecture, meeting enhanced CIP Safety standards and capable of controlling motors up to 50 horsepower. The design places great emphasis on simplicity of configuration and use.

The project envisages working in hybrid mode - 3 days in the Katowice office and 2 days remotely.

Your tasks

• Development and implementation of firmware for a frequency converter in C/C++ and Python languages
• Debugging, code analysis and troubleshooting of firmware (IC embedded code) issues
• Creating and analyzing technical documentation, including functional and test specifications
• Working in Agile/Scrum methodology - participating in team meetings and planning and executing tasks in sprints
• UML modeling and requirements analysis using tools such as Enterprise Architect
• Working with version control systems and project management tools (GitLab, ClearCase, JIRA, Confluence)
• Using development tools such as Multi IDE and Code Composer Studio
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of programming experience in C/C++ and Python for embedded systems
• Familiarity with analog and digital hardware and operating systems
• Proven competence in object-oriented analysis and design and real-time software development using C/C++ languages
• Prior work in microprocessor/microcontroller system design, ARM processors preferred
• Experience in writing functional specifications for products
• Knowledge of Multi IDE tools, Code Composer Studio and ability to work with GitLab and ClearCase version control systems
• Very good knowledge of English - working in an international environment
• Fluency in Polish required
• Residency in Poland required
