🚀 About the role


We're on the hunt for a hands-on, strategic Wine Buyer who’s ready to jump in and make an impact. You’ll be managing relationships, keeping an eye on stock, and making sure our products are placed just right across all channels. To thrive in this role, you’ll need solid commercial instincts, great communication skills, and a strong grasp of how different products perform in different markets.


  • 100k - 110K + Car Allowance + Quarterly Bonus
  • Based in Melbourne

  • Love wine and sales, and always aiming to get the right offer in front of the right people at the perfect time.
  • Great at digging into data, solving problems, and making smart commercial calls.
  • Strong communicator who works well with others and knows how to strike a good deal.
  • Really good at building and keeping solid relationships.
  • Got a good handle on how buying and procurement works, and what’s trending.
  • Super organised and always on top of the details.
  • Knowing your way around the wine world (both local and overseas) is a bonus – but not a dealbreaker.


🔧 The role:


  • Foster strong relationships with both new and existing winery partners.
  • Leverage data insights to advise on reordering, range expansion, or phasing out underperforming categories.
  • Maintain consistent feedback channels with suppliers on product quality, consumer feedback, and commercial performance.
  • Assist in campaign planning by providing timely and strategic product allocations.
  • Track and report on wine performance across different sales channels.
  • Oversee and manage inventory levels across all partnered wineries.
  • Interpret sales data, market trends, and promotional effectiveness to support category growth and shape procurement decisions.
  • Negotiate supplier agreements, including pricing, volumes, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
  • Ensure accurate and timely creation of purchase orders to optimise stock availability and drive sales.
  • Write and edit wine offer descriptions and related content as needed.
