The opportunity based at our South Melbourne Support Office…

• Curate, source and select in line with category plan, company vision and merchandise plans along with creating new & exclusive ranges
• Co-ordination of ranges and stories both within and across categories
• Execute timely Range reviews that deliver improved commercials
• Forward plan, negotiate and confirm 12-month promotional plan
• Improve Supplier Delivery Performance Management in collaboration with the Planning and Supply team
• Negotiate exclusives and first to market opportunities where appropriate along with maintaining current trading terms
• Implement Category Business Plan to achieve budgeted KPIs
• Weekly tracking and summation of performance against Category KPIs including analysis of category data
• Manage the end-to-end product including overseeing product set up and maintenance
• Support our stores with timely communication to inform and enable them to execute on time and deliver an exceptional customer experience
• Develop and coach direct reports through performance & development plans, training & technical skills transfer
  
  

About You And What You Will Bring...

• 3+ years’ experience in a similar role, tertiary qualification desirable although not essential
• Excellent analytical skills to draw insights from customer data and present these along with creative solutions
• Demonstrated understanding of inventory management processes, forecasting and supplier management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence multiple stakeholder
• Demonstrated experience in Category Management, Overseas Importing, Product Development
