Program Summary
The function of TACE (Tenderloin Area Center of Excellence) is to provide continuous, seamless access to quality primary medical care and critical support services for “severe need” and “special populations” who are under-served. Targeted populations include homeless and marginally housed residents of the San Francisco’s Tenderloin neighborhood, including residents who are active substance users, veterans, residents coping with mental illness, sex workers, transgender individuals, non-English speaking residents, gay males and their non-gay identified sex partners.
