Overview We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various carpentry tasks and a strong work ethic. Responsibilities - Perform carpentry work in accordance with blueprints and building codes - Install structures and fixtures such as windows, molding, and cabinets - Measure, cut, or shape wood, plastic, fiberglass, drywall, and other materials - Repair or replace damaged framework or other structures - Collaborate with construction teams to ensure projects are completed on time - Safely operate hand and power tools to complete projects efficiently Experience - Proven experience as a Carpenter in the construction industry - Proficiency in using a variety of power and hand tools - Knowledge of construction painting, flooring installation, roof work, concrete forming, and drywall techniques - Familiarity with frame carpentry and restoration industry practices - Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings - Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship Job Type: Full-time Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Weekends as needed Year round work People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply License/Certification: Driver's License (Preferred) Ability to Commute: Cape May, NJ (Required) Ability to Relocate: Cape May, NJ: Relocate before starting work (Preferred) Work Location: In person
