Carpenter Supervisor – Renovations & Extensions 🔨

Are you an experienced carpenter ready to step up and build your own team within a growing company?

We’re searching for a skilled Carpenter/Site Supervisor with a passion for high-quality renovations and diverse custom projects.

This is a hands-on leadership role — you’ll be on the tools, setting the standard, and growing a team around you.

Please note: You will start by working independently on projects, and as we grow, you will have the opportunity to recruit and build a team that you’re proud to lead, and move off tools

This role would also suit a sole trader who is over paperwork and finding work, and just wants to build and manage a team. Bring your contacts and your own work, and be rewarded for it. Open too all options

🛠 Your Role:

• Lead by example on-site — this is a working supervisor role.
• Accurately estimate, plan, and oversee residential projects.
• Solve problems on the go with smart, practical solutions.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing crew of tradespeople over time.
• Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to keep projects running smoothly.

✅ About You:

• Experienced carpenter with a strong background in renovations and extensions, and general building works.
• Previous site supervision or team leadership experience
• Must have all-around experience and know building codes
• Confident in estimating, planning, and structural problem-solving.
• Solid understanding of waterproofing, structural works, and investigative work.
• Strong communicator, well-organized, and a proactive leader.
• Licensed carpenter with a valid QBCC supervisor licence/driver’s licence.
• Committed to working on the tools while you are building a team around you.
• Natural leader
• Must be competent with computers and using app-based programs
• Bonus if you have experience with retaining walls, different types of projects, and investigation projects (note: this is not an insurance repair role).
