About the Position:
Are you passionate about empowering individuals to achieve their career goals? The College of Health Care Professions (CHCP) is seeking a dedicatedCareer Services Advisorto support students and graduates in pursuing and advancing their careers in the healthcare industry. In this role, you will provide career guidance, job search support, and networking opportunities while building strong relationships with employers to create job opportunities for CHCP graduates. Your work will directly contribute to the success of our students and graduates as they transition into fulfilling careers in healthcare.

The College of Health Care Professions (CHCP) is a nationally accredited institution dedicated exclusively to healthcare education and training. Founded by physicians, CHCP has been committed to developing healthcare professionals for over 35 years. Our programs are designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in the healthcare industry, offering both on-campus and online options to accommodate diverse learning needs. With a focus on hands-on training and real-world experience, CHCP prepares graduates to meet the demands of the evolving healthcare landscape.
Responsibilities:
Empower students and graduates to find employment in their field of study and begin their healthcare careers
Manage a population of graduates and assist them in job placement within the Allied Healthcare field
Provide guidance on interview techniques, workplace expectations, and resume best practices
Develop and implement plans to achieve student and graduate employment goals
Consistently meet or exceed department metrics and quotas, including talk time, interviews, hires, and monthly placement goals
Promote CHCP to the medical community by advertising, recruiting externship and placement sites, and marketing
Build strong relationships with students and employers to support job placement efforts
Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and accrediting rules and regulations
Represent CHCP positively in the community and attend staff meetings and student orientation events
Requirements:
Associate degree or equivalent work experience
Experience in employment staffing, career services, outplacement services, or sales
Willingness to work in a high-powered, dynamic, and results-driven environment
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
