Job Description
As part of the Care Athens team you will contribute to Customer Satisfaction and Problem Solving for the Core Domain and mainlu NOKIA Packet Core products for 4G/5G generation technologies:
- Cloud Mobility Management (CMM) acting as MME/AMF
- Cloud Mobile Gateway (CMG) acting as sGW/pGW/ePDG/SMF/UPF/NRF respectively
- The products are mainly CNF (Cloud Native Function) based on Openshift/NCS/AWS/Athow/Tanzu
How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
- Provide technical support analysis and solutions via ticket handling
- Investigate and identify software defects in cooperation with R&D
- Ensure SLAs are met for escalated cases
- Participate in Emergency on call shifts (12x7)
- Provide remote recovery support in the event of an out-of-service condition
- Travel to customer or customer team premises upon requests
- Create reports for Root Cause Analysis
- Perform deployments based on cloud infrastructure
- Participate in New Product Introduction (NPI) Activities
- Gain Deep down knowledge of functional areas
- Plan and execute technical tasks requiring specialist skills in your own professional area.
Key Skills And Experience
Must have
- Education: Master of Engineering or equivalent
- Experience in Packet Core Protocols for 2G/3G/4G/5G networks and interfaces
- Experience in AMF, NRF, SMF, UPF, ePDG, SGW, PGW products is a plus
- Networking protocols knowledge with hands on experience
- Professional Experience in cloud virtualization (Vmware, Open stack, Openshift, Azzure, Athos, AWS technologies)
Nice to have
- Routing and Switching: Proficient in routing protocols
- Advanced Linux knowledge
- Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Salesforce /Jira tool handling
