Location: Woodside Park United Synagogue (WPS)

Working Hours: 35 hours per week, with some evenings required

Salary: Competitive, commensurate with experience

About The Role

As a Campus and Programme Administrator, you will be the central point of contact for administrative and operational affairs, ensuring the smooth running of our synagogue. This role involves managing the site, overseeing health and safety, supporting community events, and providing key administrative support to the Honorary Officers, Rabbinic team, and volunteers. You will play a vital role in fostering a welcoming and efficient environment for our members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day management of the synagogue campus, ensuring it is safe, secure, and well-maintained.
  • Support the administration of religious services and lifecycle events (e.g., weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs, yahrzeits).
  • Coordinate and support community events in collaboration with the Community Engagement Executive.
  • Provide administrative assistance to the Honorary Officers, Rabbinic team, and synagogue council, including meeting minutes and compliance tasks.
  • Manage building contracts, maintenance, and caretaking logistics.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, serving as a Fire Warden and First Aider.
  • Administer membership records, process new applications, and maintain databases.
  • Act as a key liaison for security, volunteers, and external vendors.

✔ Problem-solving Skills, Capable Of Handling Multiple Responsibilities Efficiently.

✔ Tech proficiency, including Microsoft Office and database management.

✔ Cultural sensitivity, with an understanding of Jewish traditions and community needs.
