Job Title: CAE Engineer with NVH Exp

Location: Detroit, MI (On-site)

Duration: Fulltime

Job Summary:

• Solving radiated noise problems such as:

1. Powertrain noise (EV + ICE): electric motor whines, gear whines, engine noise, intake & exhaust noise, inverter noise
2. Tire noise
3. Wind noise

• Full vehicle, Trimmed Body and BIW NVH FE modeling
• Good materials understanding, including metals, plastics, foams, rubbers, composites
• NVH problem solving experience in various areas using source-path-receiver thinking (i.e. structure-borne noise & vibration): powertrain (EV + ICE), structural systems (body, CCB & IP, seats, etc.)
• The use of Vibration Transfer Functions (VTFs) and Noise Transfer Functions (NTFs) are basic tools in this area

Qualification:

• BTech -Mechanical
• MS in Mechanical Engineering
