Position: CAD Team Supervisor

Locations: Carlstadt, NJ

Job Type: Full-Time, On-Site

Hours: Monday through Friday (7am to 4pm, or 8am to 5pm), and every other Saturday (8am to 12:30pm)

Salary: $75k to $95k per year, commensurate with experience

What You’ll Do:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the NJ Fabrication Team in coordination with the TN Fabrication Team Supervisor to ensure timely completion of all custom stone projects
• Review and approve CAD drawings to confirm accuracy, feasibility, and compliance with fabrication standards
• Use CAD software to create templates and fabrication plans for stone material as needed
• Liaise closely with sales, project managers, and fabrication team members to interpret client requirements and translate them into actionable plans
• Ensure the correct tools, materials, and machines (bridge saws, CNCs, polishers, etc.) are selected and utilized for each project
• Monitor production schedules, workloads, and team performance to meet deadlines and quality standards
• Enforce safety procedures and conduct regular training for proper machine usage and shop practices
• Troubleshoot fabrication issues and implement solutions to prevent delays or defects
• Maintain inventory of tools and supplies in coordination with operations management as needed
  
  

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years of experience in stone fabrication, including supervisory or lead roles
• Proficiency with CAD Software
• Familiarity with CNC machines, bridge saws, polishing equipment and other fabrication tools
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
• A self-starter with a positive, team-focused attitude and a willingness to learn and grow within the company
• Dependability and strong work ethic
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to 75 lbs.)
• Ability to operate a Forklift and other heavy equipment as needed
• Ability to work in a busy environment with varying conditions including, the warehouse, yard, and fabrication shop
