We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Civil and Conveyance CAD Design Technician in Ohio to support a wide variety of municipal and industrial water, wastewater, and water resources projects throughout the region. As a valued member of our Civil and Conveyance team, you will be responsible for leading the development of detailed technical drawings and models related to site design, grading, storm and sanitary sewer design, watermains, plans and profiles, and erosion and sediment control drawings using Autodesk Civil 3D. You’ll work closely with our talented project teams in an open and friendly work environment through all phases of plan production as we carry projects from conceptual design to bid-ready documents and into construction. We’ll expect you to

  • Work closely with Project Managers and Engineers to produce quality drawings
  • Make drawing edits based on mark ups from clients and/or Engineers
  • Create and/or modify base drawings
  • Be relied on as productive team member and CAD user to work a typical set of project documents from beginning to end with professional quality output that conforms to company or client standards
  • Be able to work on multiple projects at the same time
  • Follow CAD standards with an understanding of Civil 3D styles and functionality

Here's what you'll need

  • 5+ years of CAD experience in AutoCAD. MicroStation is a plus.
  • AutoCAD Civil 3D experience with generating surfaces, pipe networks, and profiles
  • Attention to detail, quality work products, and client service
  • Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment
  • Experience with MS Office 365 (Email, Excel, Word, Teams)

The base salary range for this position is $90,000.00 to $130,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
