The Opportunity: We’re seeking a skilled CAD Engineer to bring innovative fixture designs to life using Microvellum (AutoCAD-based). Reporting to the Project Manager, you’ll collaborate with clients, architects, and production teams to create detailed 2D and 3D models, ensuring every piece meets exacting standards. What You’ll Do: Design and maintain accurate 2D/3D CAD models and technical drawings with Microvellum and AutoCAD. Produce CNC-ready part drawings and assemblies for millwork fixture production. Translate architectural plans into manufacturing-ready designs for retail and commercial projects. Work closely with clients and internal teams to refine designs and solve technical challenges. Optimize designs for efficiency, material use, and performance. Research specialty materials and manage long-lead items to keep projects on track. Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards. What You Bring: Proficiency in Microvellum and AutoCAD (experience with CNC programming a plus). Strong ability to interpret architectural blueprints and create precise technical drawings. Problem-solving skills with a knack for adapting to changing project needs. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Commitment to safety and attention to detail. 2 years of CAD experience in manufacturing, millwork, or related field.
