C++ Software Development EngineerAbout our client

For our client, who is continuously evolving to create unique value, we are looking for:

Your responsibilities

• You design and develop applications and libraries to control high precision metrology devices like Laser Trackers, Scanners and Portable Arms
• You integrate API's for integration into many Metrology applications and develop applications for control, quality checks and calibration of the instruments
• You develop prototypes of technical solutions in order to validate requirements
• You handle data streams from the distributed systems in an efficient, performant and time critical way
• You define, plan and implement technical as well as functional testing of the software and some internal testing tools in cooperation with the test team
• You analyse and improve the technical and functional quality of the software
• You detail out customer needs in cooperation with requirements engineering team and form functional software specifications
• You cooperate in project teams with SW- and FW developers, requirement- and test engineers, also with people from other disciplines like electronics
• You work in several projects with several branches in parallel
  
  

Your profile

• You have a University degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or other relevant education
• You have knowledge of C++, object-oriented programming & Visual Studio 2019 (or greater)
• You have Windows desktop application architecture and programming experience
• You have experience with multi-threading and communication protocols based on TCP/IP
• You have reliable analysis and synthesis skills
• You have an autonomous and well-structured working style
• You have very good German and good English skills
• You have a team oriented and well-communicating personality
