Overview: Seeking a Buyer with 5+ years of experience to manage vendor negotiations and execute contracts for US manufacturing locations. Must have strong negotiation skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP.


Must Haves / Mandatory:

  • Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)
  • Negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills
  • Maintain effective working relationships with vendors
  • Experience with Oracle or similar ERP systems


Nice to Have / Preferred:

  • Experience in Building, Construction, or Manufacturing spaces


Qualifications:

  • May require up to 25% travel to support procurement initiatives and supplier engagement
  • Proven experience in procurement with strong negotiation skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems like Oracle.
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making skills
  • Ability to manage vendor relationships effectively


Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate with vendors and finalize contracts for manufacturing sites across the US.
  • Develop vendor resource plans, address vendor issues, and implement strategies for raw materials to meet service and cost goals.
  • Assist in setting budgets, monitor supplier performance, and manage tariff mitigation efforts.
  • Select services based on competitive pricing and ensure adherence to procurement policies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to guarantee a reliable supply chain.
  • Create reports for RFQ purposes and perform cost analysis.
  • Identify and evaluate new vendors, ensuring they meet compliance standards.
  • Assess suppliers based on cost, quality, and delivery timelines.
  • Work with the Product Development team to standardize materials and introduce new product solutions.
