WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
The position sits within the Business Systems Team and reports directly to the Laserfiche Team Leader in the Business Systems Team. Other working relationships include all members of the Infrastructure, Security & Networking, Service Delivery, Site Management, Unified Communication teams as well as all users worldwide and external suppliers. The workplace is in Cape Town.
OVERALL PURPOSE
The overall purpose of this position is to build and implement new Business processes with Laserfiche Forms as well as developing other Laserfiche components.
Key Responsibilities
PRINCIPAL ELEMENTS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Analyse and map Business processes in collaboration with key Business Stakeholders
Build, test and deploy processes in Laserfiche forms
Optimise existing processes for efficiency
Work with the Business Systems Team in testing the integrity of Business processes during system upgrades
Work with the Data Team to define and build the required underlying data sets and SQL connections
Work with integration Engineers to connect Laserfiche forms to integrate with internal and external systems via APIs
Assist and adding additional User Experience elements on top of the Laserfiche Forms
Manage the rollout of new Business processes
Manage user training and adoption
Support other IT Engineers in managing Laserfiche Forms requests and issues
Qualifications And Experience
Certified Laserfiche Gold
Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in developing, deploying and rolling out Laserfiche based workflows
Experience with SQL based queries or CSS/Javascript/Python or REST APIs is a plus
Skills
English at business level
Ability to learn quickly and a willingness to share knowledge with colleagues
Experience in planning, creating and implementing workflow processes and working procedures (Business procedures)
Project Management skills or knowledge would be an advantage
Willingness to learn new technologies
Flexibility, well developed sense of organization and personal responsibility
Adaptability to a constantly evolving environment
Team-oriented and skilled in working within a collaborative environment
A knowledge of the financial environment and its terminology would be an advantage
Function in a high-volume production service environment
Ability to handle out-of-band requests
Experience in using DevOps and Confluence is an advantage
