Trissential is hiring a Business Systems Analyst to join our client's capital delivery project team, supporting a wide range of impactful operations-focused projects. Your Role & Responsibilities
* Act as a core project team member on two concurrent projects, reporting to the Project Manager
* Lead requirement-gathering efforts and document functional and non-functional needs
* Map requirements to design and test cases in partnership with QA test leads
* Support governance processes and ensure compliance with enterprise standards and documentation protocols
* Coordinate cross-functional meetings and manage progress using tools like Excel and Jira
Skills & Experience You Should Possess
* 5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a large, matrixed corporate environment
* Strong understanding of waterfall project methodologies and familiarity with software lifecycle processes
* Proficiency in Excel and Jira for documentation, tracking, and collaboration
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive and self-starting mindset
Bonus Points If You Have
* Experience in the utility or energy sector
* Familiarity with commercial off-the-shelf software implementations and vendor-managed cloud transitions
* Knowledge of operational software systems for transmission, gas, distribution, or renewables
Education & Certifications You Need
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
* No required certifications, but familiarity with business analysis standards (BABOK) is beneficial
