Delivers study set up, data integration, system configuration, and testing within sample tracking software systems. interfacing with internal and external stakeholders. Trains and assists end users with system usage. Gather requirements from end users and designs and implements solutions to meet client requirements. Serves as technical lead for small project teams.
Responsibilities
Create clinical trial sample plans and related data for setting up studies for study subject sample and consent tracking within software systems, working with study documents, study teams, and other internal and external stakeholders to gather and synthesize the necessary information.
Lead development of Data Transfer Specifications (DTSs), ensuring compliance to system and customer requirements.
Configuration and testing of custom data loaders needed to enable data ingestion per DTSs.
Perform data integration Quality Control checks to ensure data transfer compliance to DTSs
Perform Quality Control checks of study setup to ensure accurate reporting of client data.
Assist internal support and operational teams and external data providers in trouble shooting data ingestion errors.
Support study teams and other end users with project updates and system training.
Support internal stakeholders with project status updates and regular updates to project trackers and documentation.
Assist in formulating and defining systems scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of business systems and industry requirements.
Includes analysis of business and user needs, documenting requirements, designing, and revising system logic with minimal oversight.
Serves as technical lead for project teams, providing guidance to more junior team members and working with project managers to ensure that client projects are delivered on time and with high quality
Minimum Required Education And Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related domain; or equivalent experience required
Three (3) years of experience in data or systems analysis required
Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Knowledge of business-wide applications or IQVIA client facing applications and products.
Demonstrated ability to understand and translate client requirements into applications, systems, and process designs; execute designs to meet end user needs; and proactively manage system and process risks and issues.
Experience with laboratory work, study setup, clinical trials, clinical data management, and/or Software Development Lifecycle.
Experience with customer, vendor, or internal team management
