Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Business System Analyst with expertise in Oracle Fusion Cloud Finance and ADP systems. This role is key in bridging business needs with technology, ensuring the smooth operation, integration, and optimization of financial and payroll systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of finance processes, cloud ERP systems, and HR/payroll functions, with a passion for driving innovation and efficiency through technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. System Analysis & Design
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document financial system requirements.
  • Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications for Oracle Fusion Cloud and ADP systems.
  1. Solution Implementation
  • Assist in the design, configuration, and implementation of Oracle Fusion Finance modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, etc.).
  • Support integrations between Oracle Fusion Cloud and ADP (payroll, time tracking, benefits, etc.).
  1. Process Optimization
  • Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements in finance and HR processes.
  • Recommend best practices and improvements for system utilization and workflows.
  1. Stakeholder Support
  • Act as a liaison between Finance, HR, IT, and external vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Provide end-user support and training on Oracle Fusion and ADP modules.
  1. Testing & Validation
  • Develop test plans and conduct functional/system testing.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, bugs, or inconsistencies.
  1. Reporting & Documentation
  • Create detailed documentation including functional specs, SOPs, and training materials.
  • Support financial reporting and compliance needs through system data extraction and analysis.
  1. Security & Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, data privacy policies, and SOX requirements as applicable.
  • Manage user roles, permissions, and data integrity across Oracle and ADP systems.
  1. Upgrades & Enhancements
  • Evaluate system upgrades and patches; coordinate testing and deployment with stakeholders.
  • Stay up to date on new features/releases of Oracle Fusion Cloud and ADP platforms.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 8+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, preferably within finance or HRIS domains.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud Finance modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, etc.).
  • Experience with ADP solutions (Workforce Now, Vantage, GlobalView, etc.) for payroll and HR systems.
  • Experience in system implementations, process improvements, and cross-functional projects.
  • Solid understanding of financial reporting, payroll cycles, and compliance requirements (e.g., SOX, GAAP).

Desired Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and reporting tools (OTBI, Smart View, etc.).
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Project management skills and experience with Agile/Scrum methodology is a plus.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in data migration, integration, and validation between ERP and payroll systems.
