Business Systems Analyst (Disaster Recovery & Resiliency)

$50.00 – 60.00/hour

A pioneer in digital financial services and banking is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to support the entire organization in enhancing disaster recovery and resiliency efforts for business-critical applications. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Coordinate disaster recovery testing and maintain DR and resiliency plans for the entire enterprise.
• Create detailed reports and documentation detailing disaster recovery and resiliency efforts and present to executives and senior management.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to coordinate and schedule testing and drilling of disaster recovery plans.
• Follow up on testing outcomes and ensure timely resolution of any issues.
• Ensure that all metrics related to disaster recovery and resiliency are achieved.
• Utilize tools such as Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, Fusion, and SharePoint for documentation and project management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or similar.
• 4+ years of experience in a technical support or business systems analyst role
• Significant knowledge of enterprise disaster recovery and resiliency practices for cloud environments, ideally in AWS.
• Strong skills in creating reports and documentation and excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to senior management.
• Experience coordinating testing and follow-up activities.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, SharePoint, and/or Power BI is preferred.
