Business Support Apprentice
Location: Warwick – Hybrid (Minimum 60 % in the office)
Salary Up To £22,000 Depending On The Experience
Our new Volvo Electric Buses are growing in the marketplace, it is a hugely exciting time to join our team. As a Business Support Apprentice, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the wider business and contributing to the success of our electric bus venture. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient administration processes, as well as building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

You will be joining an established team and working towards a
Business Administration: Level 3 Apprenticeship. You’ll have time and support to complete training and assignments, with the opportunity to apply your learning and make a real impact.

Who Are You?
This is a fast-paced role where you will work on delivering administration tasks to a very high standard. You will have excellent attention to detail and work with the highest level of integrity. Being a small team, teamwork is essential, and you will be willing to support your colleagues during periods of heavy workloads.
You are eager to develop your communication skills and are happy to pick up the phone to solve problems and engage with stakeholders. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively and systematically to meet tight deadlines.
Ideally, you will have a minimum of
5 GCSEs at Grade 4/C or above including
Maths, English and a knowledge of
Microsoft Office products.
Who You Will Be Working With
You'll be a vital member of the Service Market team, shadowing the Service Market Co-ordinator and reporting directly to the Volvo Bus Service Manager.
As a Business Support Apprentice, you will be taking ownership of the administration of all aspects of Bus Service Market. You will be working closely with all Bus Service Market Members & you will be joining a hardworking and busy team who enjoys meeting targets and having fun at the same time.
Outside of the direct team, you’ll work with a range of key stakeholders—including Tech Tool users, Volvo Dealers, Area Service Managers, Head Office, Sales Administration, and Business Control—playing a vital role in supporting the wider business.
Responsibilities In The Role
- Tech Tool Diagnostic equipment – Ordering equipment, obtaining access for end users, liaising with end users with queries, invoice queries
- Warranty Claims – Assist the Warranty Manager in processing claims using Volvo Aftermarket systems. You will learn all aspects of the Claim handling process and will be able to answer queries from Volvo dealers as required
- Contract Claims and processes – Assist the Service Market Co-ordinator in claim handling, Contract quotes, raising of Contracts. You will also support in the system upgrade.
- Volvo Connect Administration – Order Services required for vehicles via Telematic Order Form (TOF), request and maintain user requests, answer queries from end users as required
- Volvo Bus Campaigns – Support team members in contacting customers affected by Safety Recalls, Follow Up with customers and create reports on request using established systems
- Technical team support – MS to advise
- Providing timely and accurate support to the Service Market team
