Job Title: Senior Business Process & Tech Architect

Location: Ann Arbor, MI (Hybrid Role)

Contract Duration: 12+ Months (with Possible Extension)

Department: North Star is an affiliated entity of CMS Energy

supports North Star Energy Group in Ann Arbor, MI (260 people in total with North Star Energy)

work with a small team of 10-12 individuals

information governance is a major problem with the North Star team - identify what are the business unit needs and how it related to information governance and determine the use cases and implement robust tool sets around it

Norh Star team does a lot of sharing with clients (4-5 teams that have separate use cases); this individual will need to understand end to end what does that look like in order to allow 3rd party sharing and ensure security protocols are put around it

Key Responsibilities:

• help the North Star team close gaps of issues with process changes, technology changes, new technology implementations to solve problems that they currently have
• come in and do interviews, understand the business problem
• gathering requirements
• coming up with solutions, but will not be doing the implementation work
• work independently, do interviews, identify use cases and problem areas, go through technology and work with partners across organizations to bring in potential vendors to do demos
• will not be a part of the implementation of the solution
• product architect role
• can engrain themself into the company and break down process barriers

Skills:

• 4 - 7 years' experience developing test plans, test cases and performing user testing and implementation readiness
• someone from consulting background could be a good fit, but they want this person to be able to develop relationships and work with internal teams
• coding background would be nice to have
