As our new Business Process Specialist, you will be a part of our Global Strategic Sourcing Excellence Team and be based in Budapest, Hungary.

Your primary task will be to optimize, develop, and document the business processes within our sourcing organization to ensure a more efficient, cost-effective, and well-regulated operational framework.

You will collaborate closely with different stakeholders to map out processes and functional dependencies. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities for improvements and implement them in close collaboration with the Sourcing Excellence team.

The Business Process Specialist plays a key role in increasing efficiency and ensuring processes align with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process analysis & mapping: analyzes existing sourcing processes in detail to identify areas for improvement, acceleration, or cost reduction.
• Prepares process diagrams and documentation outlining the steps, resources, and timing of business processes.
• Process Optimization: Identifies redundant or overlapping steps to improve efficiency and suggests process simplifications.
• Proposes ways to optimize resource usage and work time.
• Introducing new processes and systems: designs and implements new, more efficient processes aligned with the company’s sourcing strategy and objectives.
• Evaluate and develop IT implementation possibilities for business requirements and development needs.
• Take the lead in the implementation of new systems and ensures employees can transition effectively to new workflows.
• Documentation and standardization: develops detailed documentation for processes to ensure each step and requirement is clearly outlined.
• Defining and Monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Sets KPIs to measure process efficiency and regularly evaluates their achievement.
• Close collaboration with relevant departments (Finance, IT, Supplier Quality, Tactical & Daily Purchasing, R&D) to ensure process improvement proposals are practical and implementable.
• Train employees in new processes and how to achieve desired outcomes more effectively.
• Continuous Improvement: ensures the organization stays updated with new technologies and process optimization trends.
  
  

Requirements for professional background:

• MSc or equivalent in Supply Chain/ Economics/ Engineering/ Information Management or IT
• Experience in business analysis and/or process management preferably in strategic sourcing/procurement area
• Professional knowledge on data and process management tools such as Visio, MS Excel, with familiarity in SQL and database management techniques
• Comprehensive background in data analyses
• Expertise in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint)
• Advantage: Experience in working with a data visualization tool (Qlick, Tableau, PowerBI), SAP Ariba, MS PowerPlatform tools (specifically PowerApps, PowerAutomate) and good understanding of methodologies like Lean, Six- Sigma or other efficiency improving practices.
