We are looking for a Business Operations Manager. This is a direct hire opportunity based out of Manhattan Beach, CA (Hybrid).
We're looking for a Business Operations Manager to drive operational excellence and internal enablement across our business. This role will partner cross-functionally to assess internal processes and workflows, identify opportunities to streamline or enhance operations and lead cross-functional projects that improve how we work - often by optimizing our processes and use of tools like Salesforce, SharePoint, and other business systems.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who's analytical, detail-oriented, proactive and thrives in a dynamic environment. You'll sit at the intersection of operations, systems, and business strategy - helping our fast-growing team scale more effectively.
Qualifications:
- 4-7 years of experience in process improvement, project management, or business operations at a small, high-growth organization.
- Demonstrated ability to independently lead internal initiatives from idea to implementation.
- Strong analytical and process improvement skills; comfortable building clarity from complexity and ambiguity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels of an organization.
- Strong organizational and prioritization abilities; thrives in an environment with competing demands.
- Experience working with business tools such as Salesforce, SharePoint, MS Office, LinkedIn SalesNav, QuickBooks Online, Rippling.
- Salesforce admin experience (or equivalent hands-on configuration comfort) is a strong plus.
Responsibilities:
Process Improvement & Project Management
- Oversee day-to-day company operations, with a focus on delivering optimized infrastructure for cross-functional business and office needs.
- Lead or support internal projects from planning through execution.
- Analyze and identify opportunities for improvement across the business (including business development, talent, operations, and finance teams), recommending practical, scalable solutions, and ensuring adoption.
- Planned and organized internal projects and their resources using project management methodologies.
- Create project plans with goals, scope, resources roles, and schedule/timeline.
- Develop and maintain the project scope (e.g., business requirements, current and future state process flows, deliverables, budget).
- Communicate and collaborate with team members, key stakeholders, and the Leadership Team.
- Create SOPs, training resources, and internal documentation to drive consistency and scalability.
Systems & Tool Optimization
- Partner with functional leads to improve system usage and internal workflows (e.g., Salesforce, Apollo.io, LinkedIn SalesNav, SharePoint, QuickBooks Online, Rippling, etc.).
- Lead system-related projects such as roll-outs, light configuration, data clean-up, and enhancements. Partner with vendors and use project management methodologies as needed.
- Monitor tool performance, adoption, and utility; recommend and implement improvements to better meet business needs.
- Evaluate, pilot, and implement new technologies or platforms (including AI tools) that can improve internal efficiency.
Cross-Functional Support & Vendor Coordination
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure all tools and systems enable critical business needs across functions.
- Provide tools and systems troubleshooting support for employees and independent consultants as needed.
- Own relationships with external vendors, evolve systems capabilities and lead procurement efforts for new tools and services as needed. Ensure service levels meet company expectations, monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions proactively.
- Work with employees to ensure effective training and utilization, supporting ad-hoc requests, and continuous improvement.

Annual Base Salary Range for CA, CO, IL, NJ, NY, WA, and DC: $90,000 to $106,000. Actual compensation offered may vary depending on factors including but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training and/or experience.
