Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and driven Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to join our growing team. The BI Developer will be primarily responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions that support data-driven decision-making across the organisation. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in data analysis, BI tools, and report generation, with a passion for transforming complex data into actionable insights.


As a BI Developer, you will not only be responsible for analysing and interpreting complex data but will also interact with customers and stakeholders to understand and deliver business insights that drive commercial value. You will play a key role in shaping data-driven strategies and proposing innovative ideas to help the business make informed product decisions and stay competitive in the marketplace.


The role offers a hybrid work arrangement, with weekly meetings at our London office.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI or similar visualisation platforms.
  • Work on end-to-end BI solutions, influencing how data is collected, processed, and visualised
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions.
  • Create and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to integrate data from multiple sources into a central data warehouse.
  • Develop and optimise data models to ensure efficient and accurate reporting.
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for existing BI systems and reports.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver reports that meet those needs.
  • Proactively identify opportunities where business intelligence can be used to add commercial value, such as optimising business processes, uncovering new revenue streams, and improving customer experience.


Experience Required:

  • Minimum 3 years experience using commercial reporting systems
  • Proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, or similar.
  • Strong SQL skills for data querying and optimisation.
  • Experience with data integration and ETL processes.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like GIT
  • Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and data warehousing.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of python or similar scripting languages is also a plus
