An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior BI Developer to join a Top ASX Listed Company to work on an enterprise wide data integration project. We are seeking a skilled BI Developer with expertise in SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) to design, develop, and deploy data integration solutions and business intelligence tools. This is a contract day rate role based in the Melbourne CBD, working in a collaborative and inclusive team environment, offering a competitive contract day rate, flexible working environment and a great company culture.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain SSIS packages for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from diverse sources

Support existing SSIS ETLs (overnight and intraday)

Optimize ETL processes for performance and scalability, including bulk data loading and denormalization.

Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications

Share best practices for SSIS adoption across teams

Technical Skills

5+ years of experience in SSIS package development

Strong SQL skills for querying, stored procedures, and database optimization.

Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and Slowly Changing Dimension (SCD) workflows.

Attention to detail for ensuring data accuracy and quality.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Strong communication skills for collaborating with technical/non-technical teams.
