What you will do: * Responsible for data analysis, design, development, and maintenance of reports and dashboards in the data warehouse environment using various Business Intelligence (BI) tools. * Collaborate with multiple departments to develop standard and self-service reports that meet their needs. * Develop dashboards and other BI reports in collaboration with HCE and other department experts to gather requirements, develop, test, and maintain reports. * Collaborate with Data Architects and ETL developers, as needed, to design, develop, test, maintain, and support the data architecture to ensure optimal performance and reporting flexibility, while maintaining data warehouse quality standards. * Gather and integrate large volumes of data, perform analysis, and interpret results for assigned self-service analytics projects. * Acquire data from multiple new data sources to perform data analysis for self-service analytics projects and document the understandings and processes to align with the standards and data governance practices. * Identify, analyze, and interpret trends, outliers, and patterns in complex data environments to provide answers to business questions using various visualization techniques. * Perform data analysis and profiling to identify data quality issues, data anomalies, and make recommendations for improvement. * Present data and analysis in a clear and concise manner ensuring the audience is able to quickly understand, and make data driven decisions. * Perform ad hoc analysis and report creation as needed. * Acquire and maintain expertise in UCare data elements and how those elements relate to specific UCare product lines. * Write SQL queries and optimize the queries in SQL Server. * Prepare test strategy, develop test plan and detailed test cases, write test scripts by decomposing business requirements, and develop test scenarios to support quality deliverables. * Perform integration and end-to-end system testing of developed code. * Responsible for creating various artifacts for project which include specification documents, data mapping and data analysis documents. * Perform work using the following tools and technologies: DevOps, SQL, SQL Server, Ultra Edit, Oracle, T-SQL, ETL, SharePoint, UC4, Informatica, SSRS, Tableau, Power BI, Python, R, Superset, Trino, and Timbr. * Position allows work from home anywhere in the United States.
