Our continued growth and success have created the need for a
B usiness Intelligence Developer to support our fast-growing Business Intelligence team . This position will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our organization by harnessing the power of data and developing reports that bring powerful insights to all levels of the organization.
You will be utilizing your passion for data and analytics to :
- D esign, d evelop , and maintain a subset of our Power BI portfolio to provide industry-leading analytics
- Manage Power BI workspaces including permissions , apps , deployment pipelines, and sematic model refresh schedules
- Partner with data engineer s to acquire , clean and model data , while balanc ing compute capacity and setting appropriate role permissions in the database
- Collaborate with leadership across the organization to gather business requirements and transform ideas into storytelling visuals
- C ontinuously improv e our portfolio by proactively identifying issues and potential enhancements to support our evolving business needs
- Support our end-users by keeping up to date documentation, fielding second-level support tickets, and training users as needed
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of Power BI development e xperience , with a portfolio showcasing examples of your prior projects
- A strong understanding of the DAX expression language and M Code
- Proficient with SQL for data manipulation and analysis
- Proficient in Excel, including advanced formulas and Power Query
- Any experience with low-code automation tools (e.g., Workato, Zapier, Power Automate) beneficial
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and quickly pivot focus when priorities shift
- A desire and willingness to stay up to date on changes in the analytics landscape
