Job Title: Business Analyst (Business Intelligence) Location: Doha, Qatar Position Type: Full-Time / Onsite / Contract (1-year renewable) Language Requirement: Bilingual – Proficiency in both Arabic and English is required. Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in Business Intelligence (BI) projects. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of BI experience, excellent analytical skills, and exposure to Agile methodologies. You will work closely with stakeholders to define business requirements, develop business requirement documents, user stories, and test plans, and act as a liaison between business and technical teams to support the successful delivery of business intelligence solutions. * Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into clear, actionable requirements. Analyze, document, and model business processes related to BI and data analytics initiatives. Work closely with data engineers, developers, and BI teams to ensure alignment with business requirements. Conduct interviews, facilitate workshops, and meetings to gather, clarify, and document requirements. Develop and maintain project documentation, including business requirement documents, user stories, and process flows. Support Agile delivery teams by refining and prioritizing product backlogs and participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Conduct gap analysis and identify opportunities for process improvement, focusing on data quality and reporting efficiency. Support the testing of BI solutions to ensure they meet the defined requirements and deliver business value. Provide training and support to end-users of BI tools and systems. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in Business Intelligence and data analytics projects. Strong knowledge of BI tools (e.g., Power BI) and data visualization best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly understand complex data structures. Familiarity with cloud-based BI and analytics/data platforms (MS Azure preferred). Must-Have Skills: Experience in data modeling and the ability to develop conceptual data models. Experience in defining KPIs, BI report, and dashboard requirements. Experience developing business requirement documents for business intelligence solutions. Hands-on experience working in Agile environments, including participation in sprints and Agile ceremonies. Knowledge of SQL and other database query languages is a plus.
