Our team has been the driving force for innovation in the area of document automation within the PwC Network. The team operates document automation platform that is being used in almost 50 countries, will soon provide the services to the whole PwC Network globally and expand to external markets. Our team provides broad range of services, such as solution design, software implementation, software development and integrations, application management and maintenance, robotic process automation or data analytics. About Your Manager

Radek works as a Tech-team leader in the Document Automation (DA) team, leading the IT division of the DA team. His team is responsible for taking care of all IT related aspects of the existing solutions as well as the new IT projects - spanning from ensuring smooth operation of the existing systems, infrastructure and services to creating new applications (for internal and external clients) using the top tier technology. In his free time, he enjoys spending time outdoor exploring new places, driving, playing speed-chess or just watching any good movies.

Job Description & Summary

We are looking for candidates to join our globally focused and agile Document Automation team in Brno. Our team engages in Data Analytics, Data Science and Data Architecture activities for both clients in the Czech Republic and globally. We offer the possibility to work with premier clients, projects and technologies, giving you the opportunity to quickly broaden your experience and develop your skills. We welcome applications from candidates who are graduates and/or experienced professionals to lead an engagement team. You will:

• Work as a part of the Brno Document Automation agile team where you will be participating on development of innovative data driven solutions for PwC clients, via consultation, design and development of data analytics solutions.
• Gather business requirements and translate them to technical language.
• Communicate with business stakeholders to understand the needs and apply technology to fulfill these needs.
• Analyze data with respect to business requirements and processes.
• Design and implement technical target state.
• Flexibly react to the different clients' needs.
• Present insights from business analysis, data mining and user stories based on final reports.
• Understand potential core issues and pain points, propose solution approaches and work closely with other team members on implementation.
  
  

You will potentially:

• Build data models and data transformations.
• Write SQL queries, MDX and DAX formulas in MS Power BI.
• Create data visualizations in BI tools such as Power BI or Qlik Sense.
• Use business intelligence best practices to standardize reports, automate data flows and reports refreshes.
  
  

Requirements of the role

• At least 1 year of experience in the area of business intelligence, data analysis or visualization (proficient in SQL querying and data transformations).
• Understand the ETL process, Databases (database types: MS SQL, PostgreSQL, architectures, relationship).
• At least fundamental knowledge business intelligence tools (Power BI).
• The ability to communicate in English and Czech.
• Willingness to grow in an ever-changing environment reflecting client's needs and its alignment with the modern technical area.
• Data enthusiasm and willingness to grow in the business intelligence area - data enthusiast who is eager to grow in the field of Business Intelligence.
• The ideal candidate is curious, analytical, and excited to collaborate with business teams to turn data into actionable insights.
• Willingness to be in touch with business, understand their needs and help them automate and streamline processes using BI solutions via detailed analysis on SQL level.
