Summary

Job Title: Business Intelligence Analyst II Location: 1114 6th Avenue, New York, NY 10110 * Telecommuting permitted: work may be performed within normal commuting distance from The Trade Desk, Inc. office in New York, NY. Job Duties:Manage and resolve ad hoc Business Intelligence requests, developing new tools to automate repetitive tasks. Identify and analyze advertising intelligence data to understand market share trends and make recommendations for The Trade Desk to increase market share. Create dashboards and reports to allow teams to easily explore data pertinent to their ongoing operations. Support the business with time-critical data analysis and identify and analyze third party data sources to inform leadership of business intelligence insights. Improve business operations by using cutting edge operational research and modelling methods. Use predictive modeling techniques to drive business growth and generate accurate revenue forecasts and assist in disseminating information regarding tools, report, and metadata enhancements. Responsible for providing benchmarking insights by geography and industry. Apply a broad range of analytical techniques to identify business critical trends and insights by exploiting big data and assist in defining requirements for the data pipeline to incorporate large datasets from multiple data sources to support report development. Responsible for proactive analysis of The Trade Desk products and features to inform product development initiatives. Responsible for gathering stakeholder requirements, collaborating with various teams to develop the right datasets and build relevant dashboards. Serve as a subject matter expert for data analysis methods and tools, as well as data visualization best practices. Salary: $141,170 - $170,600/year Job Requirements:Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Statistics, Business Intelligence, Computer Engineering or related field and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related role. Must have four (4) years of experience with: data extraction tools including writing and modifying optimized code in SQL; data visualization including driving discussions with stakeholders to define success criteria for a project, developing requirements and relevant KPIs, building mockups and data pipeline, and delivering dashboards per stakeholder needs; data analysis including helping the business solidify questions, extracting and analyzing data, and providing insights to commercial leadership to influence business outcomes; project delivery including performing cost estimate evaluations for undefined or complex projects, building roadmaps, and managing stakeholder expectations via regular touchpoints; and presenting data stories using PowerPoint presentations and dashboards to influence data driven decisioning. Must have two (2) years of experience with: big data tools and manipulating large datasets with optimal coding; and programming languages to extract, analyze and load data. The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as sales-based incentives and commissions.
