The Business Intelligence Analyst Role: We’re searching for a detail-oriented and data-driven Business Intelligence Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a Business Intelligence Analyst at Poly and Bark, you will be at the forefront of analyzing financial performance across our e-commerce channels, identifying trends, and driving business growth. In the Business Intelligence Analyst role, you will: Analyze Financial Performance: Dive deep into our e-commerce channels, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement that will drive our business forward. Master SQL Queries: Write, debug, and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction from multiple sources, ensuring data accuracy and consistency. Develop Financial Models: Create and maintain sophisticated models to support forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning, helping us make informed business decisions. Document Processes: Clearly document business processes and technical requirements to ensure seamless operations. Prepare Reports and Dashboards: Translate complex data into practical strategies by preparing detailed financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for management. Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with our accounting, operations, purchasing, and marketing teams to gather data and support strategic initiatives. Monitor KPIs: Keep a close eye on key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular updates to stakeholders, ensuring we're always on track. Own Software Maintenance: Take charge of maintaining enterprise software and ensuring data integrity across our systems. Who Are You? We’re looking for someone with a strong analytical background and a passion for data. The ideal candidate will have experience in data analysis, financial modeling, and a solid understanding of the e-commerce industry. We’re looking for someone with: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 3+ years of experience in data analysis, with a focus on e-commerce and finance. Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong proficiency in MS SQL with the ability to write and optimize complex queries. Understanding of accounting, inventory, and the e-commerce industry. Ability to learn new software and skills quickly, with experience in PowerBI or other business intelligence tools. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. Ability to work independently and multitask in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
