The Business Intelligence Analyst provides data analysis and consultation to support strategic and operational decision-making across the department. This position leads the development of data strategies, conducts multi-dimensional research, formulates actionable recommendations, and coordinates the implementation of solutions to address management and operational issues. Serving as a specialist and/or lead on high-impact data management and visualization projects, the analyst also designs and implements processes for monitoring and measuring the outcomes of departmental activities.
A key focus of this role is leveraging the Microsoft Power Platform---including Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate---to develop custom solutions, automate workflows, and build dynamic dashboards tailored to operational and management needs. Acting as a technology liaison, the analyst collaborates with Information Services and department stakeholders to support system design, development, and implementation. Additional responsibilities include translating business needs into technical solutions, supporting system administration, enhancing data accessibility, and deploying collaborative tools such as SharePoint and Microsoft Teams to improve efficiency across programs and departments.
## QUALIFICATIONS FOR PERFORMANCE OF THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
**[REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE]{.underline}**
- Bachelor's degree in data science, business analytics, computer Science, information technology, statistics, or a related field; AND,
- 2 years progressively responsible experience in business management, with an emphasis in data analysis, business intelligence, or a closely related field, including demonstrated experience in developing reports, dashboards, visualizations, and data-driven strategies to support decision-making; AND,
- 1 year experience using Microsoft Power BI and other data visualization tools (e.g., Power Apps, Power Automate, Excel, Tableau, Google Charts); OR,
- Any equivalent combination of experience and education that provides the applicant with the desired knowledge, skills and ability required to perform the work.

- Previous experience leading teams while fostering collaboration, demonstrating excellent communication skills, reliability, and a commitment to problem solving.
- Proven ability to manage and analyze large datasets, with experience in data modeling, data warehousing, and designing metrics or performance dashboards.
- Previous experience creating ad hoc reports.
- Experience with SharePoint and Microsoft Teams administration, including supporting the development and implementation of collaborative tools.
The annual salary for this position ranges from $84,260.39 - $107,796.26. This position offers medical, dental, vision, life insurance, a pension retirement, and other voluntary benefits.
