As an independently owned company operating in seven countries, we’ve built our success by staying true to our values: questioning everything, embracing change, building not buying, winning together, and doing the right thing. Our employees see the difference - we’re a certified Great Place to Work® in Canada, the USA, Ireland, and the Philippines. If you share our beliefs and want to be part of a team that values innovation, accountability, and doing the job right, we’d love to connect.

This Opportunity:

The Business Integration Manager plays a key role in advancing Opus’ strategy as we work toward becoming the world’s first SaaS-based administrator. We’re looking for a detail-oriented, results-driven individual to help drive alignment across cross-functional teams and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Reporting to the Chief Integration Officer, you’ll be responsible for managing and supporting the integration and adoption of key initiatives, including Opus’ proprietary technology, across both internal teams and external clients.

Key responsibilities:

  • Partner with stakeholders to understand project goals, scope, and deliverables, and create implementation plans that align expectations and timelines.
  • Build and maintain advanced Excel dashboards and tools to track performance and support decision-making.
  • Analyze large data sets to uncover insights, ensure consistency and accuracy, and translate findings into actionable reports.
  • Participate in the development of automated tools and processes using Excel functions and VBA.
  • Manage day-to-day project activities, including scheduling, task assignments, coordinating internal teams and third parties/vendors, and tracking progress.
  • Maintain clear project documentation, meeting notes, and cross-team communications.
  • Evaluate change impacts and proactively help stakeholders plan for future needs and strategies.
  • Monitor project timeline, budgets, and deliverables to keep everything on track.
  • Lead post-project reviews to assess outcomes and identify opportunities for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Proven experience as a project manager or similar role.
  • Experience in the fund administration or related industry is an asset, but not required.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including formulas (VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH), pivot tables, conditional formatting, charts, and macros (VBA).
  • Experience working with and interpreting large data sets.
  • Naturally tech-savvy; instinctively turns to digital tools and platforms as first-line solutions.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive, solution-focused mindset.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and work across teams and time zones.
  • Experience working with remote and cross-functional teams.

We want to give our colleagues the best start possible. That’s why we provide regular in-office training during your first few months, giving you the tools and knowledge to thrive. Once you’re up to speed and confident in your role, you’ll have the flexibility to transition to our hybrid work model which is currently one day per week in office.
