Hardware setup and troubleshooting – Proficient in assembling desktops, laptops, peripherals, and related hardware components and peripherals
Operating system installation and configuration – Skilled in installing, configuring, and updating Windows OS, including drivers and baseline list of applications
Network connectivity and basic troubleshooting – Able to connect devices to wired/wireless networks and diagnose connectivity issues
Customer service and communication – Comfortable interacting with end users, explaining technical issues clearly, and providing on-site support
Experience with asset management and documentation – Familiar with tracking equipment, updating inventories, and following deployment procedures
Duties/Role
On-site and remote support for installation and initial configuration of user equipment (workstations, laptops, peripherals)
Install operating system and baseline applications
Network connectivity setup
User acceptance test and hand over to end users
Support end users with basic training
