Business Financial Manager, Senior
The Opportunity
The right mixture of great ideas and funding can create change. In a complex organization, allocating funding to where it can be most effective can be challenging. That’s why we need you, a financial analyst who can easily navigate the requirements, policies, and regulations that govern funding, to make sure the Defense Advanced Research Project Agency's (DARPA) resources can make the most impact.
As a Business Financial Analyst in support of the Operations Team at DARPA, you’ll work with program leadership to review funding documents and provide business financial management and programmatic support, while maintaining responsibility for analytical, technical, and administrative duties in one or more phases of the budgetary process. Using your knowledge of laws, regulations, and policies, you’ll help your client develop well-formed requirements. Once the funding is in place, you’ll make sure the funding is used efficiently through consistent tracking and communication with agency stakeholders. This is your chance to work in the home of the U.S. Government's most advanced technology development efforts while imparting your financial analysis expertise to your team.

You Have
- 8+ years of experience with budget and financial analysis, including tracking of financial commitments, obligations, and expenditures
- 2+ years of experience with DoD solicitations and contracting actions
- Experience generating Military Interdepartmental Purchase Request (MIPR) and Purchase Request (PR) documents
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have
- 2+ years of experience managing schedule, budget, and program risks in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with the Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI) financial system
Clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
